RE WindowBlinds 6

Hi newbie here. I bought a skin ''Slider XP'' and I did not see that it worked only with WindowBlinds 6. I had this application but I thought I had to remove it before downloading WindowBlinds 7. Do I have to pay again for WindowBlinds 6 to install it again? and can I install it even if I have WindowBlinds 7? I wanted the Gold color for Slider XP. do I have to buy the yellow preset?. Hope I am at he right place, if not so sorry. Please help.

I have the skin and it works fine with Windowblinds 7. To get the gold color you need to click on the "Colours" tab on the bottom. There are a couple methods you can use. I figured it oout thru a bit of trial & error. The easiest way is to uncheck "Use Smart recoloring" but you can also leave it checked and change "Range of colors to apply to" from automatic which works better in my opinion.

Thank you, I will try that But could someone tell me where I could download WindowBlinds 6 please. I search all over the site and did not find it because I would love to try all presets.

You can't have WindowBlinds 6 and 7 installed at the same time. I would recommend staying with version 7 as it is the latest and will get the updates. If you wanted to go back to WindowBlinds 6 you would need to uninstall 7 and reboot. Then WB 6 would show in Impulse as well as WB 7.
